Spring is here

Tonight we had fun swinging and playing on the swingset. The weather was finally nice enough to venture outside without our winter parkas. The girls like swinging like "big girls", momma even got some practice, too. They both are really good at climbing the ladder and going down the slide without any help. They are getting so big!

Kate and Annika turned 2!

Our little girls turned two years old on April 20th. They celebrated at daycare with balloons and cupcakes. What fun! Now everything is "big girl", "do it self...", "no help momma!"

We finally got their sandbox finished and their swingset tent ready to go- now all we need is some warmer weather.

The Boston Marathon!

Last Monday Jason ran in the 112th Boston Marathon. He had a great day to run, sunny and in the 50's. His pace was really fast throughout and he ended up with a time of 3:21:12. His place was 4,516th out of 25,000. Before the race we had Saturday and Sunday to explore the Boston area. It was really exciting to see all of the historic places like Fanuiel Hall, Quincy Market, Old North Church, Bunker Hill and the site where the Boston Tea Party took place. We even got to see the Women's Marathon Olympic Trials, spend a lot of money at the race expo and experience the "T" train. It was a great trip and we can't wait to take the girls there someday when they are older. You can view pictures of Jason running at the Marathonfoto link- his bib was #6130, Boston Marathon. Enjoy!
